Answers.com Continues Content Growth

Both Answers.com and WikiAnswers Expand Topic Count

NEW YORK, May 21, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Answers Corporation (NASDAQ: ANSW), creators of Answers.com(TM) and operators of WikiAnswers(TM), today announced that its recent content update has further expanded its library of over 180 titles.

Recent Answers.com content additions included:

- Handbooks for professional research, hobbies and general interest, such as architecture & construction, boating and genealogy

- Guides covering classical, French, German and Irish literature, as well as a general literary dictionary

- Religious reference, including a dictionary of saints, as well as works on Celtic, African and Asian mythology

- Recent major U.S. Supreme Court decisions

In addition, WikiAnswers' growth is accelerating, particularly since a mid-April redesign aimed at increasing user registrations and contributions. Close to 900 new users are registering with WikiAnswers every day (based on a 7-day average for the previous week), an increase of 184% relative to pre-redesign. About 950 questions are answered every day, an increase of almost 90%. Approximately 3,000 new questions are being added to our system every day, an increase of close to 275%. We are continuing to optimize the site to further accelerate the growth rates of WikiAnswers' user base and content store.

"Content is key to our business," explained Bob Rosenschein, CEO of Answers, "because it drives users and search engines to our sites. By regularly aggregating best-of-breed licensed titles and user-contributed content that's helpful, wide-ranging and accessible, we create value for our users and, by extension, our stockholders. In terms of WikiAnswers," Rosenschein continued, "we have demonstrated that carefully orchestrated design and user interface improvements can yield a dramatic increase in user participation. We'll continue to test and improve the designs of both WikiAnswers and Answers.com to supplement the growing collection of content on each."

Updates to the site can always be reviewed at the Answers.com "What's New" page: http://www.answers.com/main/our_news.jsp.
